Laura Podschun

Where were you raised?
I was born and raised in the small town of Winfield, Kansas, in a very full and lively home (7 siblings, 2 parents, and 1 dog to be exact).

Where did you go to school?
I was homeschooled until high school, then did the one thing I vowed not to do and went to the small private school in my hometown: Southwestern College. I graduated in May of 2020 with a degree in Religion and Philosophy and minors in Christian Discipleship, Leadership, and Youth Ministry.

Who’s in your family?
I'm the youngest girl of 8 kids, but I'm now overshadowed in my parents' eyes by my 8 nieces and nephews that have come along since then.

What brought you to Munger?
I attended Munger in college during my 3 summers serving at Project Transformation and was the site coordinator for the Munger site my last summer.

What’s your favorite thing about our church?
My favorite thing about Munger is the welcoming community. Moving to a new city to work at Munger was way less intimidating and scary with the instant introductions and connections made with generous and hospitable people!
