Drew Sutherland

Where were you raised?

I grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. I spent most of my time mountain biking, hiking, and backpacking.

Where did you go to school?

I went to school at Idaho State University (Bachelors in Trombone Performance), Oklahoma State University (MM in Trombone Performance and Pedagogy) and University of North Texas (ABD Trombone Performance and Music Business).

Who’s in your family?

I am married to my lovely wife Mimi and we have two dogs, Emma and Hank.

What brought you to Munger?

I was originally hired to be the live audio engineer for the youth department and after a year of having so much fun I was offered a job here.

What’s your favorite thing about our church?

My favorite part about Munger is the generosity of the congregation. Their willingness to help others, even those less fortunate has amazed me.
