Christmas is a miracle of sorts. Everything we have wanted,
prayed for, longed for is now where. Praise the Lord! In the arrival of
Jesus God’s revelation is taken up a notch in that now through Jesus we
get to see firsthand God’s heart and plan to save us.
Extra Mile: Think about time for a moment. Israel had been praying for a Savior for thousands of years. Generation after generation prayed for God to take a next step. On Christmas, God did. Reflect for a few moments on the time-span of our prayers. Some prayers are answered quickly while others may take a lifetime or beyond. The good news is the Lord s faithful and takes action in time.
