4th & 5th Grade Outdoor Game Night
8:30 - 10:00 pm
Munger Main Parking Lot
Greetings Fellow Parents!
My wife Elaine and I have a 5th grader named Jack. He is going to be in SIXTH GRADE next year. WOW. That also means he’ll be in 6th grade Confirmation at Munger starting in the fall!
Tommy and Sarah Tucker have a 4th grader named Charlotte.
We’re in the same Munger small group as the Tuckers (we meet outside in the church parking lot each week), and our kids have really enjoyed playing together.
We really want our kids to make church friends and to look forward to seeing friends at church each week.
For 5th grade parents particularly, our kids will be in Confirmation next year, and I want to start building that community now.
So, the Forrests and the Tuckers are putting on an outdoor game night in the Munger parking lot on Friday, March 26.
Friday, March 266:30-8:00 PMMunger main parking lot
- Capture the Flag, Dodgeball, various versions of the Tag family, and other active games. NOT BOARD GAMES.
- Jack and Charlotte want us to tell you that there will be PRIZES.
- This is a family event and our vision is to see parents playing alongside their kids. If for some reason parents are not able to attend, they could send their 4th or 5th grader in the care of another family.
- Younger and older siblings are welcome to participate and play, though all activities will be geared toward 4th and 5th graders. (That is, there will not be childcare or supervision for little kids who aren’t old enough to participate.)
I know it’s been a difficult year for our kids to make connections with each other and we have a long way to go, but we have to start somewhere.
Is your family in?!

P.S. You are receiving this email because our church records say you’re a parent of a 4th or 5th grader. If that’s incorrect, please let us know!
P.P.S. Here is a pic of selected members of the Tucker and Forrest families from the night the church basement flooded back in February. Church friends!
