Register for Big Stuf 2020

This week continues to be one of the biggest spiritual highlights for young Mungarians year after year. It is a non-stop fun, high-energy, Jesus-filled week at the beach where no matter who you are or where you come from, you will be challenged to think about yourself, the world, and God differently. The cost for the incredible week is only $420/camper, which includes all expenses while away and an awesome Munger Youth t-shirt.

Trust us—you do not want to miss out on this week! Below you will find a link to help you get registered today!

SCHOLARSHIPS

While $420 is a tremendous value for an all-inclusive week away for beach camp, it is still a lot of money. We understand that there are a myriad of reasons why paying for camp could be tough on your family. We want this trip to be accessible to every single youth who wants to go.

A number of partial scholarships are available. Please contact rich@mungerplace.org for more information. Please do not hesitate to ask for this. We never want finances to be the reason that any youth misses out on this week.

SUPERVISION

In addition to the incredible group of adults from our church headed to beach camp with our youth, BigStuf has its own full-time camp staff to help make sure campers are constantly supervised and safe.

DRESS CODE

The reason for our dress code is so the focus of the camp will not be altered. We want to keep camp with as little distractions as possible.

Guys, here are some parameters to follow:
Please make sure all attire is modest & appropriate.
No speedos or anything that semi-resembles a speedo.
Unless at the beach or pool, wear a shirt at all times that completely covers the chest & torso.
No sagging of shorts, pants or swim trunks.

Girls, here are some parameters to follow:
Please make sure all attire is modest & appropriate.
One piece bathing suits (no cutouts) or tankini’s that fully cover the stomach.
Stomach should be covered at all times.
All shirts, dresses, & rompers should have a modest neckline.
Shorts & rompers must have at least a 3” inseam.
Skirts, dresses, & rompers should keep you fully covered when bending over.

It is of great importance that parents help us enforce this as your kids are packing. If students do not follow the dress code, BigStuf staff & interns hold the right to ask students to change into appropriate clothing—a problem we don’t ever want to hear about with our group.

THINGS TO PACK

Students need to bring beach towels, sunscreen, water bottle (one will be provided but having a backup is not a bad idea), flip-flops, bathing suit, shorts, t-shirts, Bibles & journals. Bed linens & bath towels are provided in the hotel rooms. Students may also want to bring extra spending money for snacks, arcade games, & the BigStuf Store.
