Membership

We think church membership ought to mean something.  At Munger, membership is not about what you get, but what you give.   It is not about privileges, but about responsibilities.
 
For us, the minimum of what it means to be a committed member of Munger Place Church is the following:

• Attend worship unless you are sick or out of town
• Meet weekly in a Kitchen Group 
• Be a committed giver
• Serve others

Orientation Classes for Prospective Members

The next opportunity for prospective members to join the church will be during our worship services on Sunday, April 15 . 

All prospective members must attend a membership class.  This informal orientation class, led by Pastor Andrew, covers the history of Munger Place Church, the origin and beliefs of the Methodist Church, and our church's goals and expectations of its members.  Membership classes will be offered on the following dates, at the church: 

• Sunday, February 19, 4:00-5:30 PM
• Wednesday, March 21, 7:00-8:30 PM
• Thursday, April 12, 7:00-8:30 PM

To attend a membership class, please register below or by speaking to Andrew.  Childcare is provided free of charge, but you must register for it 48 hours in advance.
