We’re looking for volunteers to be present and available on Sunday mornings to pray with members of the congregation at the end of each service.
Prayer is a central part of the Christian life, and not just personal prayer, but communal, intercessory prayer. Praying with those members of the Body of Christ who are broken and downtrodden makes a real difference in their lives; it doesn’t always change their circumstances, but it does change their ability to handle those circumstances. Praying with another person is a profound act of unconditional love. By participating in our prayer ministry, you can be a vital part of Munger’s outreach to our community.
We’re asking people to commit to one Sunday per month, and to be in both services that Sunday.
We're asking these people to pray with folks at the end of each service, during communion, and occasionally during times in the service when Andrew invites people to come and pray at the communion rail.
Don't worry, we won't leave you hanging! We will provide training and instruction for all volunteers.
